Chapters
The River Kidz program empowers students from elementary through high school to explore and protect their local environment through hands-on science and outdoor learning. Elementary chapters typically meet after school or on weekends, while middle and high school chapters usually take place during school hours. Across all chapters, students engage in kayaking, water quality testing, and wildlife research, fostering environmental stewardship and a deeper connection to the Indian River Lagoon and our planet.

St. Mark's Episcopal Academy
Cocoa Village, FL
For the past four years, St. Mark’s Episcopal Academy in Cocoa Village, FL, has been inspiring students through the River Kidz After-School Chapter, giving them hands-on opportunities to explore, protect, and learn about the Indian River Lagoon. We’re proud to nurture curiosity, leadership, and a love of science in every student.
